I have been lucky enough to be able to return to the SAMARCH project this year for the third year in a row. I took part in the spring Smolt run for the first time where I worked the night shifts catching and recording the salmon and trout par. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my experience and hope to take part in it again in future years.
